Miriam Medrez | Size 0

Galería Emma Molina invites you to the opening of Size 0 by Mexican artist Miriam Medrez. The show opens next Thursday, March 10 at 8:00PM.

... "Size Zero is about consuming and being consumed. A vital economy where positions are interchangeable, giving and receiving, devouring and being devoured, being displayed or hidden. An inverted dress is the inside of the body, an inverted lettuce is a carnivorous plant. Why reverse the terms? Because the position in the production of Miriam Medrez is that of an axis, always located on the edge, thinking about the body and its circumstances from the edges, the corners, the sutures. ". ..
