He has a particular interest in teaching that comes from locating photography not only as a technological medium, but also in confronting the photographic image as a phenomenon of ideological transition and its repercussions in the public imagination. Where discourse, conception, strategy, hybridization of genres, intertextuality, transmedia, ornament, monumentality, ideological status, means, visibility, circulation and history of the image are continually cross-linked and sometimes contradictorily when trying to generate a reflection and awareness of a seemingly close environment that presents complex levels from personal creation.


Co-director with Fernando Montiel Klint of the Klint & Photo photo studio in Mexico City.

Co-founder of the HYDRA platform to generate projects related to the medium of photography such as exhibitions, books, workshops, etc. Likewise, a network of contacts will be woven to link photographers and contemporary artists with curators, institutions, publishers, etc.

Advisor to the SDMOPA San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts (USA), Advisor of the magazine Exit (Spain), member of the advisory board of the Alquimia magazine of the National Photo Library System (Mexico), member of the advisory board of the Pedro Meyer Foundation, member of the consulting team and advisor of the FOTOMUSEO  CUATRO CAMINOS (Mexico).

He invented the ecological developers Ecotol and E-76, based on Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) for developing film and black and white paper. He also designed the first ecological photography laboratory in Mexico, for the Centro de las Artes of San Agustín Etla, Oaxaca: CASA, and CONACULTA.
